S R International Logistics Truckers Beware

 S. R International, a Freight Forwarder warns truckers to beware of high fuel prices, bad banks  and government regulations.  It does not pay for freight movers to make mistakes

SR International Logistics has been working with trucking companies, both locally and nationally to help them survive the current economic climate.  They work with express forwarders and truckers who move freight containers  in the United States.  SR International teaches logistic class at the World Trade Center in Denver and helps others in the industry get paid for moving freight containers and other logistics.

“It shouldn’t be like pulling teeth” said Russ Steele of SR International Logistics when he was explaining the logistics nightmare some truckers go through dealing with new government regulations. Steele alone has over 22 years experience in the industry and is committed to helping truckers who move containers.

“Our company has a great track record of helping others in the logistic industry” says Dave Ross acting CFO of SR International Logistics. Things like credit history can be a problem when  trucking companies are working with a bad bank.  SR International Logistics knows what it is like to work with a bad bank and really wants to help others in the logistics industry avoid this type of problem.  “Getting ripped off by a bad bank is never good” said Ross

“Moving cargo is hard enough without the hassles of credit problems and government regulations” said Steele of SR International Logistics. Education and information is available for qualified logistic service providers.  Please contact SR International Logistics for more information.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Highland Bridge Inspires Real Estate Deal

Denver, CO, June 28, 2006 – Denver-based SR International Logistics, Inc. (SRIL) has purchased the Highland Office Plaza at 2525 16th street in Denver and plans to create an International Business Centre. Several factors contributed to the decision to buy the building but the Highland Pedestrian Bridge connecting Lower Downtown with the Highland area (HILO) was a deciding factor.

"When we moved in six years ago, I fell in love with the unique features like the fireplaces and balconies" says Russ Steele, co-owner of the building. The quaint lodge style building sits in the heart of a re-development area in North Denver but looks like it belongs in the mountains. Inside the building has the feel of a ski lodge with patio grills, skylights and loft offices. If you look South-west there is a great view of the mountains and to the East, Denver sits below with a skyline that will take your breath away. This exact view will be the back drop of a Hollywood movie that to be shot in Denver. The building’s parking lot will be used for a scene featuring Denver’s skyline. Filming is scheduled to begin in July.

The Building was purchased for an undisclosed amount on March 28, 2006 by David Ross and Russell Steele, the owners of SR International Logistics Inc., which is currently the largest tenant. When the building was purchased, it only had 60% occupancy and in the past three months, over half of the available space has been leased. As they are headquartered in the building, they are able to offer on site property management and have already begun making many improvements to the building.

They hope to create an International community by offering additional amenities like on site language translation, international business services, logistics and daily courier service to the World Trade Center and all of the downtown area. The building is easily accessible to I-25, I70 and Speer Boulevard. Once the Highland Pedestrian Bridge over I-25 is complete, the building will be accessible to Union Station and Lower Downtown by foot and bicycle.
