Dear Mr. Ghaemi,

 

Mr. Scott Schreiber of S4 Inc. contacted me today and requested a letter of introduction.  My name is Nancy Steele and I am a registered broker for the Export Import Bank of the United States, however my back ground is in venture capital and international project finance.  I work with a consortium of independent international consultants in a partnership, Asia Spectrum, LLP. 

 

Before going into any further introduction of my group, I would like to share my impressions of Mr. John Alderson and Mr. Scott Schreiber of S4 Inc.    I was introduced to them through Art Chua, who is also a member of Asia Spectrum.  I was quite impressed with their knowledge of raising capital and handling merger and acquisition negotiations.  We are working on a number of projects and S4 Inc. proved to be the most well connected and responsive contact that we have to source financing and credible project partners.

 

As we have continued to explore opportunities together, I have been impressed with the quality of their national contacts and knowledge of the key players on a local level.  Having worked in the industry in Denver for some time, I appreciated their familiarity with my contacts and proper assessment of various individuals and organizations.  Our mutual efforts have worked well with my group and we are very pleased to provide them with reference.

 

As for Asia Spectrum Partners, we are comprised of two Americans, two Chinese and a British attorney.  My personal background is in business planning and project funding, mostly ventures capital.  I have worked on numerous international projects that involved government agencies, international development banks and multinational corporations.  My partners are better versed in the Asian market.

 

Mr. Art Chua is Malaysian born Chinese; he came to United States as an exchange student when he was 19 and is now a U.S. citizen. He is an honors graduate with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a M.B.A. from California State University.  He has significant experience working with Chinese and Taiwanese manufacturers handling negotiations and setup operations.  Art is an accomplished consultant who speaks several Asian languages and dialects including Taiwanese.

 

Mr. Tom Galey, our Taiwan expert, graduated from CU in Boulder in Economics, and has an MBA in Global Management.   When Tom finished college he moved to Taiwan and lived there for well over a decade.  His primary business functions were in product development and market entry for multinational corporations.  Tom is extremely well connected in Taiwan and has a tremendous understanding of the business culture there.   He speaks fluent Mandarin and conversational Taiwanese.

 

Ms. Lily Zhu is a Chinese National originally from Hunan and former resident of Canton, now a US citizen living in Colorado.  She has earned a Masters degree in Integrated Marketing from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She currently helps Colorado
companies with their market entry and outsourcing needs in China.  Lily is extremely well connected in the Guangdong Province to both manufactures and government officials; she speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

 

Mr. Michael Reilly, our legal partner, has a strong background in high-technology, computers, and software development.  Michael has an MA degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge in England, and a JD degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado.  He continued to further his education in Japan and has significant business contacts throughout all of Asia.  His specialty is international law and legal contracts.
